Past Events

ISEC Fall Conference 2011

The Annual ISEC Fall Conference provided students from across the state with the opportunity to learn essential leadership skills, participate in student-led workshops, and connect with fellow students from across the state.  The conference featured a leadership and organizer training on Saturday in partnership with the IRON Student Network.  Sunday featured a shorter program with 3 student-led workshops and a guest speaker.  The conference was a great place to meet green minded students and exchange ideas and information for future collaborations.

The Illinois Student Environmental Coalition once again ventured to Springfield to learn about the legislative process.  We toured the capitol building, watched a session in progress, and met one-on-one with state legislators.  This was a great opportunity to share your voice on the most important environmental issues in our state.
